• Olympics Week at EGA 11th -15th July 2011

  From the 11th - 15th July,  the whole school was involved in our Olympic Week where the timetable was suspended and girls took part in some really exciting activities all connected in some way to the Olympics.  

  Everything was firmly rooted in the Olympic values of Respect, Excellence and Friendship and the Paralympic values of Courage, Determination, Inspiration and Equality.  
   
  The week culminated in a festival where the girls were able to showcase some of their work and to listen to the Olympian hockey player, Darren Cheesman, who certainly inspired us all with his story.
