Student Choice at 14 is becoming increasingly more varied to allow for a more personalised curriculum. In addition to our broad range of GCSE choices at KS4, we are part of and Islington consortium that allows us to offer students a choice of diplomas. Diplomas that EGA students can choose include:

Diplomas take place over 1 full day per week and are delivered in a variety of venues including EGA School and City & Islington College. Diplomas allow students to work in a practical way often replicating real work scenarios. The aim is to prepare students for the world of work by developing skills that employers consider vital to be successful such as teamwork, creative thinking and problem solving.
Students can also opt to study NVQ courses that are also delivered over one day at City & Islington. NVQs are level 1 courses and can be studied in Childcare or Hairdressing
