Some of you may have seen Josefa Chociezynska and Silan Fidan of year 10 on the BBC News yesterday (22/6/11). They were invited to appear on a live broadcast from the BBC TV Centre in Wood Lane to discuss their responses to Michelle Obama’s speech about Soweto in an interview with Huw Edwards. As always, our students spoke confidently and fluently and were not at all concerned about being interviewed on national television. Huw Edwards was helpful and encouraging and it was fascinating to see a TV studio in action. Josefa and Silan also bumped into X Factor winner Joe NcElderry on their way out!
