School Direct 2022

For a September 2022 start, applications open in October 2021. School Direct (tuition fee) is a training route into teaching where trainees get high quality training and experience through UCL Institute of Education or London Metropolitan University and at two placement schools. Training teachers of the future who will inspire future learners to excel is key for ensuring individuals and the wider communities grow and thrive. We encourage applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to share our journey to education excellence.

Graduate Teaching Apprenticeship

We also offer an apprenticeship programme that is ideal for Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants who are currently employed in a school and want to step up into teaching. Our primary graduate apprenticeship is designed for staff wanting to train to be a teacher, who are already employed in a school and have the full support of their headteacher.
