Posted on: 27/11/2025EGA Hosts Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge Regional Final!Last Thursday evening, EGA was thrilled to host the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge Regional Final, a truly inspiring event that filled our Lecture Theatre with passion and powerful voices! Year 10 students from schools across Islington took to the stage, sharing their perspectives on topics they felt strongly about. It was an incredibly positive evening, giving these young people a platform to articulate their opinions and engage their audience. A huge well done to our fantastic EGA speakers, Yasmine (who came in an honorable third!), Sofia, and Zahra, who delivered passionate and compelling speeches. They represented our school brilliantly! The event's success was also thanks to our wonderful volunteers and performers; Year 11 Student Volunteers for your hard work and dedication, ensuring the evening ran smoothly and professionally and special shout-out to our musical performers Heja and Selina, who captivated the audience with their beautifully performed songs. It was a brilliant celebration of confidence, communication, and community. Congratulations to all who took part!
