Posted on: 22/05/2025League WinnersCongratulations to the year 7 team who dominated in their final performance in the Islington schools league, finishing 1st place after 4 weeks and not losing a single match. I would like to mention some stand out performances from our captain Elsie who was the team's top goal scorer, scoring some outstanding goals. Bakita and Mehana were also an incredible support in the midfield, scoring and assisting goals. A massive well done to the defence with excellent leadership from Daisy and Chiamaka, only conceding 1 goal across the 4 weeks.
Posted on: 9/05/2025Identity WeekThe unique thing about our school is its wide diversity and Identity Week, ending with a non-school uniform day on Friday, reminds every staff and pupil how special they are. Identity Week has been an important part of the EGA calendar for a few years and each year, we aim to teach everyone about a different aspect of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Our theme this year was 'Who Am I?' where student leaders led assemblies and a Thought For The Week to discuss the importance of acceptance and allyship, understanding intersectionality and recognising that humans are wonderful and complex. This year Identity Week also supports ActionAid, a charity working to end violence and fighting poverty so that all women and girls, everywhere, can create the future they want. We Raised £309.77
