The unique thing about our school is its wide diversity and Identity Week, ending with a non-school uniform day on Friday, reminds every staff and pupil how special they are. Identity Week has been an important part of the EGA calendar for a few years and each year, we aim to teach everyone about a different aspect of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Our theme this year was 'Who Am I?' where student leaders led assemblies and a Thought For The Week to discuss the importance of acceptance and allyship, understanding intersectionality and recognising that humans are wonderful and complex. This year Identity Week also supports ActionAid, a charity working to end violence and fighting poverty so that all women and girls, everywhere, can create the future they want. We Raised £309.77
