Posted on: 18/10/2018Trip to Central St MartinsOn 18 October, two Art and Design option groups went to Central Saint Martins College to look at a wide variety of undergraduate work. The girls were really amazed by the variation in the work and the crossovers of many specialities. We then walked down to the Gasworks to take abstract photographs of the amazing architecture.
Posted on: 16/10/2018Debate ItOn Tuesday 16 October, 12 of our Year 7 students went to Hogan Lovells Law firm to participate in the 'Debate It' training programme with other schools from the Islington Borough. The purpose of the training was to provide the students with an insight into how the 'Debate World' works and its role in the community and the impacts on individual lives. The EGA students worked really well in teams with other schools to develop their public speaking skills and they did this maturely and professionally. They had the opportunity to voice their ideas and present to the audience during the duration of the training. The 12 EGA students will be continuing their training in school by attending the Debate It club after half term and preparing for the Debate It Competition next year.
