In our lessons we have been watching the movie Coco in Spanish and analyzing it. The movie Coco is about the Day of the Dead, a festival honoring the deceased which is celebrated in Mexico. It originated from the Aztecs. It is a joyful celebration where families come together to honour and celebrate their dead loved ones. They do this by putting their pictures up with offerings. People also paint their faces with colourful designs made to look like skulls. We also decorated paper skulls and here you can see some of them.
